Hotel Indigo Las Colinas is a local hotel with global roots.
Our Story
Past and Present
The land that is now Las Colinas was first purchased by John and Flossie Carpenter. But it was their son, Ben, who had a progressive vision of how to use the space and give back to the community in his father’s honor. Ben’s international travels to Italy, Spain, Brazil, and South Africa affected the city planning, which includes a Venetian-style canal and water features, flower fields from Italy, South African sculptures of Spanish Mustangs, and Brazilian rainforests.
As a part of the IHG brand, Hotel Indigo draws on the unique flavor and character of the local community, telling the untold Las Colinas story. A stay at Hotel Indigo is an immersion into life in Las Colinas.
